A saturated orange reads hotter and cleaner against a near-black anthracite, while a warm cream keeps it from tipping into pure racing livery and gives it a hand-painted signage feel. It comes straight from McLaren's new unified identity, which keeps Papaya but redraws the wordmark after the 1920s-era sign over the McLaren family's service station in Auckland.
